This being my first blog post I will spend it explaining why I created the blog and also provide a little background on eMedical.
I created the blog to provide you with additional information about eMedical, Inc. and provide additional product information, product comparisons and money saving opportunities with more depth than what may be on our site. I am hoping this blog will evolve into an open arena for current topics and information that you express interest in.
A little back ground on eMedical, Inc.; I started eMedical in November 2009 with the idea that there should be a place to obtain better quality incontinence products and advice than what is offered at the local grocery, pharmacy or box stores. It was amazing to me to see the limited shelf space and product offerings the stores actually carried when it’s estimated that 25 million American adults are managing some form of incontinence. It’s even more surprising how often those few product selections are not actually on the shelves and out of stock and good luck finding a sales associate or pharmacist that will be able to assist you in selecting the best product for your specific needs. We took this idea and began selling various incontinence products and supplies to individuals residing in assisted living and also local residence living in the Northern Indiana area. This was so popular we decided to create a website shortly after to make the purchasing experience even easier and available to all. With our central location in the U.S. we are typically able provide 1 to 3 day shipping on orders, via FedEx or UPS Ground, did I mention shipping is free for all orders. We have a full complement of products from the top brands such as Abena, Attends, Depend, Prevail, Tena and Tranquility. We maintain competitive pricing on our products, which we accomplish through low overhead and selling our incontinence products by the case (typically four packages).

For my next blog post I will be discussing the potential to have your incontinence products and supplies reimbursed through your Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). With 2011 coming to a close this is a great time to look at your HSA, FSA or HRA and make sure you are maximizing your benefit. This is also a great time to look into participating in one of these options in 2012, if eligible.
